UNKNOWN WOLLONGONG LIBERAL CANDIDATE’S THREE SIMPLE TESTS

31 January 2019

With 51 days until election day, the unknown Liberal Candidate for Wollongong has to satisfy three simple tests.

With 51 days until election day, the unknown Liberal Candidate for Wollongong has to satisfy three simple tests:

1 - Commit to funding and building the Unanderra Station lifts.

2 - Match NSW Labor’s funding commitment to upgrade the Wollongong Entertainment Centre.

3 - Commit to a consistent definition for Wollongong so we get a fair share of NSW Government funding.

Wollongong voters deserve to know what the major party candidates in this election stand for.

The Liberal candidate for Wollongong is still unknown.

What they stand for is unknown.

NSW Labor has announced a $225 million Illawarra Jobs Action Plan.  It’s fully costed.

It’s a comprehensive plan to help create new jobs, secure existing jobs, improve our infrastructure, protect the environment and improve essential public services.

Wollongong – the third largest city in New South Wales – has been wilfully ignored under the Bereijkilian Government.

The unknown Liberal candidate for Wollongong has just 50 days to pass these three simple tests.

Comments attributable to Paul Scully MP:

“The people of Wollongong know what I stand for.

“I’ll build the Unanderra Station lifts.

“I’ll upgrade Wollongong Entertainment Centre.

“I’ll make sure Wollongong – the third largest city in the state – gets its fair share and is never ignored like it has been under the Liberals who have not undertaken a single project in the electorate funded by its $20 billion electricity privatisation.
