NINE LOCAL SPORTING GROUPS SHARE IN $50,000 WOLLONGONG FUNDING GRANTS

Upgrading the Illawarra Cycle Club’s velodrome to improve disabled access to facilities is the big winner with $20,000 going towards the project under the Local Sport Grants Program in the Wollongong electorate.

Eight other sporting groups ranging from football, tennis, baseball, rugby league, rugby union, athletics and surf life-saving will also benefit from funding under the program.
