Ban Plastic Bags in NSW

Wollongong has some of the best beaches in Australia. However, in NSW, 61 million plastic bags each year, litter our local parks and oceans, putting our beaches at risk.

159 single-use plastic bags are used every second in Australia - that's more than 10 million new plastic bags every day.

Plastic bags also kill countless fish and over 100,000 sea mammals every year.

Paul Scully is asking for your help to get the NSW Government to help protect our beaches and marine life, by banning single-use plastic bags in NSW.
